Goat Moves Marketplace serves as the ultimate one stop shop for customers to be able to store all their favorite products and services in one central location and discover new businesses and experiences in their local area or when traveling.
About Us
Goat Moves Marketplace started off as a local drug testing provider in Kansas City, MO in 2020. Upon creation, the flaws and disconnects in business to business transactions and consumer connectivity, more specifically the service industry were quickly illuminated. The pandemic had further scattered and complicated the most simple of processes and greatly limited accessibility. The remedy? Your new favorite marketplace-the global one stop shop connecting businesses and customers readily and seamlessly.
For the first time in history a platform was created where customers and employers could find ANY service they needed in the world within ONE marketplace. Gone are the days of countless different apps/platforms/websites for each service industry category. It is simply overwhelming and now unnecessary.
In June 2022, Goat Moves Marketplace was officially launched allowing physical businesses to market their location as well as products and digital services should they offer them. We are the Pioneers!
Why Goat Moves?
“Why Goat Moves? “ You ask yourself or maybe you thought “Hmm that’s unique”. The “Why” is the pulse- the heartbeat of the company. It is the driving force and the energy that permeates throughout Goat Moves Inc. Every employee, contractor and business that we interact with experiences the cool, the passion and pride that we cultivate here at Goat Moves Inc.
The Grandfather of Rachel Renee (a Capricorn, an old Goat) immigrated from Lagos, Nigeria to Kansas City, MO in the 1960’s and earned a Master’s, two Bachelor’s and an Associate degree while picking flowers, supporting his family and persevering through adversity.
In November of 2019 his eldest son (Rachel Renee’s Uncle) unexpectedly passed away. Rachel Renee had assisted her Uncle with some personal matters to which he exclaimed “You be pullin’ Goat Moves Niece” -he meant it in a “Greatest Of All Time” way. Rachel Renee (a Capricorn, a young Goat) of course loved it!
In July of 2020, 8 months later, Rachel Renee’s grandfather passed away- the old Goat that started it all. Goat Moves is her way of honoring the hard work and sacrifices of her ancestors while being a positive influence they would be proud of.
Message from CEO
It was important that this company not only reflected the love and pride I have in my family ancestry- It was important to transmute all this pain, confusion and uncertainty in the world into love, compassion and security. People are the ultimate investment.
It is a different era no matter how much we may yearn for “things to go back to normal”. At Goat Moves Inc we have found that leading by example, with love and accountability that we enable those around us to walk and live in their purpose-generating light out of the darkness. We aim to be a positive experience in your day because…well, what else are we doing?
